Founder

Hi, I’m one of the many hearts behind CAVA Sanctuary, and my love for animals started when I was just a kid. I still remember the day I heard tiny cries coming from a sewer drain—it was a kitten, scared and stuck. I carefully helped her out and, with a little love and care, found her a forever home with my neighbor. That moment sparked something in me—a deep passion for rescuing animals and making sure they know they’re safe, loved, and never alone. CAVA Sanctuary was born from that same love. What began as a few rescues has grown into a safe place for vulnerable cats and dogs, built by a community that believes every animal deserves a second chance. I’m honored to be a part of it.

Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and being part of CAVA feels like being exactly where I’m meant to be. I’ve always loved keeping things organized and making sure everything runs smoothly—so stepping into this role came naturally. What makes this journey so special is the heart behind it. Every rescue, every wagging tail, and every new beginning reminds me that love and compassion truly make a difference. Im happy to be part of this team saving animals and changing lives for the better.

Foster and Adoption Family Liaison

My love for animals began at a very young age. I had only two career goals in mind. One, an actress. The other, a Veterinarian. Neither of the two panned out, but Animal Rescue proved to be the next best thing. 

I had finally found where I belonged when I began fostering almost 10 years ago. My experience with animals far surpassed 10 years, however the animal crisis in San Joaquin County prompted me to get more serious about making a difference. I began taking in stray animals and finding Rescue for them. If no Rescue was found, I made a way to see to their needs myself. I had long dreamed of owning a Rescue for myself, but financially that wasn't in the cards for me. Fortunately I crossed paths with the Founder of this Rescue, and together we discovered a common goal. With her resources, and my knowledge of animals we decided to join together for the good of the animals in our town. I then was given a title most fitting for me: Foster and Adoption Family Liaison. I am happy to lead the way for our incoming Fosters, and prepare our adoptive families for success.

Every animal we help is a reminder of the difference we can make when we come together with open hearts.
